Cougar 200 Excavator Tree Shear

The Cougar 200 is the smallest tree shear within the JB series. Ideally suited for 1.8-4 tonne excavators, this model is a very popular choice for farmers and contractors commonly operating 2.5 tonne class excavators such as a Kubota KX61-3 or JCB 8025.

It features a new and improved heavy duty cylinder, HB500 grade bolt on blade and a bolt on headstock. Side brackets are available as an optional extra, allowing the shear to be flipped 90 degrees for horizontal branch delimbing.

The Cougar 200 is typically a mini-digger mounted tree shear, which can be used in a range of general forestry applications, from lightweight clearance to coppicing work and overgrown hedgerows.
